The Mission Resourcing Network was established by the Uniting Church, Synod of South Australia in 2002, to assist the church to develop a culture of mission. There are 15 (full and part-time) MRN staff  based in the church office at 212 Pirie Street, Adelaide, and three who are located in rural regions. All staff are available to  travel anywhere within this state.

The MRN works in a range of areas, some of which include:

• helping to develop leadership for a missional church
• helping to identify and support a number of Mission Centres across the Synod
• providing and recommending a range of resources to assist churches to grow their mission
• deepening faith and discipleship through cross-cultural mission experiences
• supporting partner churches overseas in mission and justice
• fostering networks which encourage local mission
• assisting congregations and regions to engage in mission planning
